Columbus Board of Education
2013 Millage Committee

On Tuesday, May 21, the Columbus Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution creating a committee representing various stakeholders throughout the community to meet and discuss a vision for the future of Columbus City Schools and to identify an appropriate millage request for educational priorities to support our city’s students.

The millage committee held its first meeting on Thursday, June 6, in the library at East High School, 1500 E. Broad St., at 7:30 a.m. The committee plans to meet each Thursday during the month of June, at the same time and location. The committee must conclude its work and issue its recommendations by July 1, to ensure the Board has time to consider the recommendations and take the necessary statutory actions to place a levy question on the ballot in November 2013.

On this page you can find information about the committee and its work. Click on the arrows ( ) to expand a section. Under the meeting dates you will find agendas, information shared at the meeting, and a meeting summary/minutes.

Thank you for your support of Columbus City Schools.
