Elementary was recently selected as one of 30 schools to take part in the
L.A.C.E.S Reading program. The name L.A.C.E.S. is an acronym that stands for
Literacy Across Columbus Elementary Schools. This program was chosen by the
writing teams because it represents the Ideas behind building and
implementing a program designed by Columbus Public Schools for Columbus
Public Schools. One of the main goals of this program is to integrate the
reading and writing curriculum. Thus “tying everything together”. |
